Shakespeare in India
On February 16, I am looking forward to being en route to Ernakulam, South India, to carry out a very special theater project. I have received an invitation from St. Teresa’s College in Ernakulam, South India, to collaborate with students from the college to create a performance and provide associated theater training. In this peer-to-peer structure, the students will then conduct theater training sessions for 500 children from Ernakulam
YXIE- Manoir des Arts
We started in 2022 the chambre d’hôtes and culural space. YXIE Manoir des Arts www.yxie.fr. We organize at the end of September the ‘Festival des Jardins’ An art festival with theater, music, and art. There are art weeks for theatre and music. We organize concerts and exhibits.
In September 2022 we will open a new interdisciplinary ‘Maison des Arts’ in France, close to Paris. Here we will soon be organizing workshops, conferences, and lectures with the arts as a common starting point. The Maison des Arts will be a place for inspiration, reflection, and deepening. There is a dance and theatre studio for professional and amateur actors and dancers. Keep an eye on the website for news and updates. www.yxie.fr

The Art of Acting (Females)
Instructor: Moos d’Herrripon
This is the second theatre course where you are going to explore the power of acting by learning different skills and by having a lot of fun. At the end of this course, you will perform a dialogue or monologue in front of a female audience.

You will experience different aspects of the performing arts like:
1. Improvisation; listening and reacting into the present moment, responding intuitively by showing expression and using text.
2. Storytelling; speaking in front of an audience, find the connection between intuition and the physical appearance.
3. Showing a monologue or a dialogue and learn how to transform into another person using text and movement.
Theatre director Moos d’Herripon and student Emilie Middag went to India, Kerala to work at the Shakespeare play ‘Taming of the Shrew’ with young women of a girls College.
